River Clean Ups
March 1st 2025
March 1st - Paddlers and other people in the community spend the whole day, each cleaning their choice section of the river.
- We paddled 14 miles and got half a dumpster full of trash for our section. In total, the trash that got picked up from the San Marcos river was enough to fill multiple dumpsters.
Texas River Marathon
May 3rd - The Prelim for the Texas Water Safari. A 36 mile race from the River Haven RV Resort and ending at the Pump House Restaurant.

June 13-17 - The toughest canoe race in the whole world. 260 miles nonstop form Aquaria Springs to Seadrift. Matthew will be racing with his Mother, and William will be on their support team.

Mac 4 – Mike Simmons Memorial Night Race – Palmetto State Park to Gonzales 183 (24 miles) Saturday April 19 at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 PM (a night race)
